  We only had a week to try and learn the entirety of the Spanish language which is obviously ridiculous but Tatiana taught us what she felt was absolutely necessary to get us through the rest of our travels in South America and it was absolutely perfect. She left us to learn vocabulary by ourselves with a dictionary and instead taught us important grammar such as the past and future tenses so that we can now hold basic conversations in Spanish. More than that, she is a brilliant woman and the lessons were so much fun and taught us so much about what it is like to live in Bolivia. Tatiana is wonderful but so are all of the other staff members we met. We played wally (Bolivian volleyball) with staff and other students and it was absolutely brilliant. We cannot recommend Fenix enough.

  한국인 여러분! 수크레에서 스페인어 배울 곳을 찾는다면 여기 강추예요. 그루버(루카스)에게 배웠고, 여섯 번 수업했는데 좋네요. 수크레에 2주 있으면서 페닉스 덕분에 좋은 친구, 좋은 추억 많이 만들었어요. 토요일마다 하는 왈리, 수요일마다 하는 쿠킹클래스 정말 즐거웠구요. 페닉스 사람들 정말 만난 지 얼마 안 됐는데도 오랜 친구처럼 편하고 즐거웠어요. 수크레 정말 그리울 것 같습니다 ㅠㅠ

  I was in Bolivia from February to May 2017 for a Master's research. I barely spoke any spanish and was recommended to go to Fénix. It was the best recommendation I have ever had!! I was amazed how fast I learned the spanish language and how fast I felt at home because of the Fénix family. In addition to their spanish classes they play wally (which is a mix between volleybal and squash, and is just the most amazing sport ever) and they give cooking classes or have fun evenings playing uno or drinking delicious jugo's. Fenix, and especially Grover, also helped me a lot with my research. They assisted me in the country side during several interviews and Grover even managed an encounter with the president!! I am eternally grateful for Fenix help and think of them everyday. I hope one day I will visit them again, and for now I would just want to recommend this school to everybody!!!

  I attended Fenix for 2 weeks a long time ago and wish I had stayed longer. I had one on one 4 hours a day classes with Freddy and he was an excellent teacher. The school activities are great too

  Best Spanish school in Sucre!! If your serious about learning Spanish this is the place to do it! I tried 2 of the other main schools in Sucre and Fenix has been far better. All the teachers are very professional and have all studied Spanish and English in university. Every week there are many activities from wally, football, cooking classes, local shows, and many more. All great opportunity to practice your Spanish!!
