  Really friendly family, nice and clean house! The house is well located, a supermarket and a local market within a 5 minutes walk and to the plaza central only 15 minutes! They also help you with any problems and invite you (if you want) to activities like volleyball, cooking, local dancing, film evenings... they also offer the best spanish lessons in sucre. I would really recommend berthas homestay to everyone!

  We started our South America trip in Sucre with Bertha and her family and it couldn't have been any better. She took her time showing us around town, taking us to markets and telling us interesting stories about traditions and culture. Her husband Pepe even cooked us the delicious traditional dish Mondongo (best food we had in Bolivia)! We would have loved to stay longer and hope to come back one day!

  Bertha, Pepe y chicos, compartimos una gran cena preparada por la cholita, realmente disfrutamos la estadia, quisimos quedarnos mas tiempo pero teníamos planeado viaje hacia el sur, seguro cuando volvamos por Sucre pasaremos a saludar. Todo muy bien, gracias por todo, inclusive nos han acompañado a comprar gasolina para nuestra moto. 🇰🇷🇨🇴🇧🇴

  Wonderful family! One of the best Homestay we have been during our trip through South America. For $20 Australian dollars we had a private double room with shared bathroom. All the bedrooms are renovated or new! Very clean too! You can also take Spanish classes there if you want to! Marisol is an amazing teacher. If you are looking for a very special experience with genuine people who love travellers stay with Bertha and her family. We extended our stay as we loved it so much! We hope to be back one day!
