  I had a totally great experience at Escuela Runawasi. The teachers were great--fun and intelligent and made the classes enjoyable to learn grammar as well as have lively conversation. The directors of the school, Janine and Joaquin, are such lovely and helpful people. They made me feel so comfortable and taken care of (I was traveling sola). And even helped me plan the rest of my 3 weeks in Bolivia with advice about tours and companies to go with. The whole experience was fantastic and I loved that I got such an inside look into Bolivian life. I did a homestay that they arranged. The family was so warm and friendly and the mom, Amalia, cooked fantastic vegetarian food. They have super adorable dogs so I felt quite at home there. I wish I could have stayed longer than 1 week but I hope to be back.
