::My partner and I loved this class! Moises gave us a great overview of all the ingredients, cooking techniques and gave us a lot of opportunity to get hands on. We made the sopa de mani with a group of 3 others. It was delicious! We also got to make a traditional Bolivian cocktail and were treated to a home made pudding for dessert. Great experience learning about Bolivian culture, history, and food!

::La Boca was a fantastic class. We were in Sucre for my girlfriend’s 30th birthday and I was trying organise a special day for her. On Tripadvisor it’s pretty limited in Sucre finding activities that aren’t museums.. however I came across La Boca and got in touch with Moi via WhatsApp. He was on holiday but was arriving back the day of the birthday. He intended on having the day off to settle back home, however to help me out, he did the class for us, and it was just us three which made it very personal. Moi was very hospitable and welcoming. He took his time to explain the ingredients, the different types and why they are important in Bolivian cuisine as well as sharing a lot of personal information which was very interesting. Then between us three he divided responsibilities and prepared the traditional dish of Sopa de Mani. The class was extremely enjoyable and my girlfriend was super happy with that portion of the day. The soup was delicious and a huge portion! So much so that for dinner that night we had to share a main we were so full. Moi delivered an amazing service but is also such a genuine person who goes above and beyond to share his passion of cooking. I highly recommend people get in touch for a class - there’s a reason he has an overwhelming 5 star rating.

::Moi was very a friendly teacher. He explained a lot about the bolivian food and also about the other things of bolivia. We cooked mondongo chuqisaqueno, which was one of the best meal, I've ever had in bolivia. Unfortunately my boyfriend got sick in advance. But Moi gave me all the left overs to bring to my boyfriend. I recommend La boca de sapo very much!

::I had pretty low expectations of this when we booked it as I expected Bolvian food to be simple and tasteless (whoops!) but we made a delicious meal, had great fun and thought the lovely couple running the school were a real pleasure to spend time with. Don't bother buying lunch in a restaurant, come here and cook your own. You'll be surprised and happy you did. And you go home with a great recipe.
